What’s This All About?
Wong Out Loud is for those who want to embrace life fully — living loud, expressing authentically, loving deeply and savoring every damn good moment, all while acknowledging the inevitable presence of death.
Living loud isn’t about volume, it’s about presence. It’s about being bold, strong, unapologetically expressive, grounded, vibrantly alive, gentle, kind, thoughtful, adventurous, outrageously fun and staying centered in who you are and expressing the deepest parts of ourselves.
Through the lens of my profound personal journey and learning, I dive deep into life, death, grief, love, reinvention, meaning, purpose and finding calm in the chaos. I offer a space where vulnerability meets strength, where raw emotions and humor coexist.
This is for anyone who refuses to die bored or let fear rule, and instead wants to live consciously and enjoy the hell out of this ride until the very end.
This space is not for surface-level self-help. I dig deep.
My work also breaks away from mainstream narratives, and I aim to help you understand where others are coming from, offering perspectives you may not have encountered before and showing you new ways of thinking. I explore the complexity of living between cultures, while navigating the identities that come with it.
Through this, I invite you to embrace the richness of diversity and find compassion and excitement in the shared human experience.
I write in honor of my husband, Andy, whose memory continues to guide and inspire me. I also dedicate this work to our son, Julian Kinyao, as we navigate this journey of life and transformation together. One day, he may understand he has a deeply feeling, wild-hearted badass mother. (Feel free to ask me what Kinyao means.)

Whether you're navigating loss, rebuilding a new chapter or simply longing to reconnect with yourself in a deeper, wilder way, my coaching is a space for truth, clarity and wholehearted expression. Together, we dive beneath the surface to meet your emotions, your story and your next bold step with curiosity, gentleness and courage.
Besides writing and coaching, I’m also a public speaker and a teacher who empowers youth to use their voice to lead, to express themselves and their ideas, craft compelling speeches, and communicate authentically in their own unique style.
I spent nearly two decades telling other people’s stories as a journalist for Bloomberg News and Agence France-Presse (AFP), covering global business across three continents and managing newsroom teams. Born in Hong Kong and shaped by the world, I now bring cultural curiosity and a global perspective into everything I create.
